About Us

The Simulator

Our state-of-the-art Airbus A320-200 Fixed Base Simulator delivers unmatched realism and training functionalities.  From its exact 1:1 scale recreation to its sophisticated flight dynamics, our simulator reproduces all of the systems, controls and displays present in the real aircraft. Our pilot seats move electronically, like in the actual aircraft. This is as real as it gets.

Three projectors give a fully immersive 220 degree field of view out of the windows. You will be hard pressed to not believe you are really in control of an aircraft on its final approach.

Multiple speakers give an immersive surround sound experience - from the starting of the engines, the sound of wind and rain outside to the noise of the seatbelt signs going on. Every detail has been included.

Dual iPad Electronic Flight Bags containing up to date Jeppesen navigation charts, QRH’s and checklists allow you to plan and programme your departure and arrival taking the realism level to wherever you want it.

What can it do?..

  • With a sophisticated weather generator we can reproduce any type of weather from low visibility procedures to storm dodging. If that is all too much for you, then clear skies are also an option! Feeling confident in your landing ability? Let’s increase that crosswind!

  • Want a challenge? At the touch of a button, we can fail almost any system on the aircraft, trigger a wind shear at 200ft or send another aircraft straight into your flight path. Put yourself to the test with an engine failure on final approach. Or see how you would deal with a total electrical failure at 30,000ft?

  • You can fly anywhere in the world. With over 23,000 airports to choose from you will be spoilt for choice.

Want to practice flying the approach 10 times? Sure. Want to fly an RNP into Innsbruck? Of course.

The flight time to Sydney would usually be around 19 hours, but we can be there in about 45 seconds, and back again, all before the end of your session. Tell us of any special requests in advance by filling out our pre-flight questionnaire, and we’ll make sure everything is set-up perfectly.

Professional from the start

Our simulator operates software from ProSim Training Solutions - a professional simulator package trusted by commercial training organisations around the world.

Our simulator is regularly used by professional pilots working for some of Europe’s biggest airlines.

  • Fully functioning iPad Electronic Flight Bags: With the ability to plan your flight and monitor its progress in real time as well as calculate performance data, view required Jeppesen charts or consult the QRH. Our EFB’s can communicate with the MCDU’s allowing quick transfer of flight plans or performance data.

  • Lido Sky Data: Our FMS database is from Lufthansa Systems - renowned for its high quality aeronautical navigation data and industry standard compliance.

  • Instructor station: With every flight you will have an expert on hand operating the instructor station, ensuring your flight is as effective and efficient as possible. We can re-position the aircraft to anywhere in the world within seconds, removing any downtime. Want to shoot approaches over and over? - we can instantly re-position on a 5 or 10 mile final.

  • Enhanced video recording: Multiple cameras and microphones in the flight deck can record your sim session. Whether you want to show off your landings to your friends and family, or use it as a professional pilot to de-brief afterwards, we can provide an easily downloadable video package for you to keep. This comes at a small additional cost and can be booked ahead of time or on the day.

  • Online connectivity: We can connect to the online Air Traffic Network, enabling you to interact with other aircraft and talk to air traffic control using the aircrafts radios and intercom.

The Space

Our simulator and briefing room includes plenty of space for guests to watch the sim session. For pre-flight briefing and de-briefs afterwards, there is a table and chairs. We also have a whiteboard and printing facilities if required.

With advance notice, we can book meeting rooms which can host up to 20 people comfortably with break out areas for informal networking. The meeting rooms have the usual A/V systems and WiFi available.

If you arrive early, we may ask you to wait in the lobby before commencing your experience.

The Drinks Trolley

That’s right! We have a drinks trolley!

We have a complimentary range of Nespresso coffee products, tea, soft drinks and snacks available for you and your guests to enjoy. Don’t be afraid to ask for a drink or snack if you want one. We even provide non-spill cups for consumption on the flight deck.

We offer a variety of Airbus A320 merchandise for sale too, including keyrings, lanyards, pins, models, and our exclusive 3Twenty Aviation coffee mugs.

Our Team

3Twenty Aviation was setup in 2023 by aviation experts and friends, Dan and Adam.

Dan is a pilot and instructor.  Adam is a pilot, instructor and Air Traffic Controller for a major UK airport.

They are joined by a professional team of freelance instructors and sim operators. All of our instructors are licensed pilots with many years experience of flying multiple aircraft types from single engine’s to airliners, including the A320, A330, A350 and Boeing 787.

We are always looking for more passionate professional people to join our team. If you think this is something you would be interested in please don’t hesitate to drop us a message.

The Airbus A320

The Airbus A320-200 is a single aisle, twin-engine jet manufactured by Airbus Industrie, the European consortium. It is part of the Airbus A320 family, the world's best selling aircraft line.
The aircraft is 37.6 m (123 ft) long and can accommodate 150 to 186 passengers with a max range of 3750 nautical miles and max take-off weight of 78 tonnes.

The flightdeck "front office" of the A320 Family exhibits a shared commonality with other Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft. Pilots operating the A319, A320, and A321 benefit from a Common Type Rating, and can easily make the step up to Airbus’ widebody fly-by-wire aircraft with Cross Crew Qualification.
